Harkness Screens Highlights Faster Minimum Lead Times, New 2.5 Gain 2D Low-Speckle Screen, and HSG Labs Innovations at CinemaCon
Las Vegas, NV, April 13, 2026
Harkness Screens is set to highlight a series of new developments for cinema exhibitors at CinemaCon, including reduced minimum lead times for screen deliveries in the USA, discussions around the new 2.5 Gain 2D Low-Speckle screen now open for pre-order, and the latest quality assurance solutions from HSG Labs.
At this year’s CinemaCon, Harkness Screens will showcase how it is helping cinemas improve presentation quality while increasing operational efficiency. The company will present its full range of 2D and 3D screen solutions, together with new products and service initiatives designed to support exhibitors in premium and mainstream cinema environments.
As a minimum in the USA, lead times for Harkness screens have been reduced to 6 to 7 weeks for rolled screens and 2 to 3 weeks for folded screens. To encourage customers to experience or revisit Harkness service and screen performance, the company is also inviting exhibitors to submit a quote request during CinemaCon, with special CinemaCon pricing available on quoted projects.
A major focus at the show will be the new 2.5 Gain 2D Low-Speckle screen, with pre-order discussions now underway. Developed for premium cinema applications, the new screen is designed to deliver higher gain performance for enhanced brightness efficiency, helping support energy savings and overall system optimisation. It also offers reduced speckle, creating a more balanced and comfortable viewing experience even at higher gain levels.
The screen also delivers industry-leading brightness uniformity, helping ensure consistent image quality across wider seating areas while enabling greater flexibility in auditorium design. Improved contrast performance further enhances image depth and clarity, supporting a more immersive cinematic presentation.
In addition to its screen portfolio, Harkness will also showcase the latest developments from HSG Labs. These include 4P and Optimizer, a new quality assurance solution for PLF and premium screens designed to boost presentation quality while reducing operating costs. Harkness will also present the new version of Checker, supported by a promotional offer, as well as Spectro, which will also be featured as part of a CinemaCon promotion.
Together, these developments reflect Harkness Screens’ continued focus on helping exhibitors improve on-screen quality, streamline maintenance, and deliver better cinema experiences with stronger commercial performance.
CinemaCon attendees are invited to visit Harkness Screens in the Salerno Room on the Promenade Level to learn more about the company’s latest technologies, promotions, and quality assurance solutions.
